(STATEHOUSE) - Governor Pence will undergo outpatient surgery today.
Pence's office says the governor will go to Saint Vincent Medical Center in Indianapolis to have a hernia repaired. He's expected to be discharged the same day and recuperate at home.
Pence was already scheduled to be out of the office next week on vacation.
