(VANDERBURGH CO.) - Two men were arrested after a police chase in Vanderburgh County.
It started around 7:15 a.m. Monday at Mulberry St. and Weinbach in Evansville.
Police say the men were in a stolen vehicle and when officers tried to stop them, The driver then sped off.ed off.
The chase lasted about 10 minutes and ended in a field near Waterworks Road.
Officers say both the driver and passenger got out and tried to make a run for it after the stolen truck got stuck in the mud. the men even tried swim through a flooded field.
Police were eventually able to catch both men. Police says one of them also has a warrant out of Kentucky.
The driver, police say, was taken to Deaconess Hospital because he was "impaired."
