(CONNERSVILLE) - Fayette County is asking the state for permission to begin a needle exchange program.
There is an ongoing heroin addiction in the county and it has come at a high price -- including more than two dozen overdose deaths and a soaring increase in the number of cases of both Hepatitis C and HIV.
