Evansville Police Searching For Killer Of Popular Evansville DJ

(EVANSVILLE) - Evansville Police are still searching for the person who killed Shane Breedlove, a popular Evansville DJ.

Autopsy results show he died from internal bleeding due to the trauma of being shot.

Country singer and friend of Shane's, Jackson Young, spoke to 14NEWS as reward money keeps piling up to catch the killer.

Investigators have learned that Shane Breedlove was on the phone with a woman when he was shot and killed.

So far i, close to $12,000 was raised for a reward leading to the conviction of Shane's killer. KC's Time Out Lounge has put up a $10,000 reward, and the Breed Love Not Hate page has raised $1,500 so far.

According to police reports, officers interviewed the woman Shane was on the phone with at the scene Sunday night.

Police have searched nearby businesses for surveillance video clips showing who was in the area around 9:15 p.m. Sunday.

Police haven't released how many times or where Shane was shot.

Investigators are asking anyone with information on the murder to call the We-Tip hotline at 1-800-78-CRIME.

Funeral services will be this Friday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral home.
