Clark County Police Arrest 32 For Not Paying Child Support

(CLARK CO.) - The Clark County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32 parents accused of not paying child support in a summer sweep.

The operation started on June 30 when Clark County schools released for summer vacation and two school security officer were assigned to the sweep.

The amount of unpaid child support totaled $398,000. Some of the top offenders owed up to $70,000.

Having a vested interest in the students at Clark County Schools, the school resource officers say they made it their mission to find as many child support offenders as possible.

The officers were given limited information to find the offenders around parts of Clark and Floyd counties. Two officers arrested 32 people in seven weeks.
