(LAKE WAWASEE) - Seven people had to be rescued from Lake Wawasee after their boat sank.
Conservation officers say the driver, 22-year-old Adam Wenger had a blood alcohol level more than three times the legal limit when an officer attempted to stop the boat. Wenger apparently stopped the boat abruptly, then quickly accelerated, causing it to capsize.
No injuries were reported.
