Two Arrested After Troopers Find Meth Lab

(VIGO CO.) - Thursday at 1:54 p.m., Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Troopers from the Putnamville Post descended upon 2155 Clay Avenue in Terre Haute to investigate persons wanted on warrants.

Troopers also developed information the persons may be involved in illegal drug activity.

During a search of the resident's garage area, troopers located numerous items related to current and past methamphetamine production and items of paraphernalia. Remnants of a recent lab were located, but no finished product was found.

Troopers arrested 42-year-old Joseph Robert Goda, and Onica L. Deakin, both of Terre Haute, on charges of manufacturing meth, possession of meth, possessions of precursors, illegal dumping of controlled waste and maintaining a common nuisance.

Goda was also wanted on a warrant in Vigo County for possession of precursors. Deakin was also wanted on a warrant in Vigo county for failure to appear.
