(COLUMBUS) - A 17-year-old was arrested on reckless driving and drug charges after he was seen traveling approximately 100 miles per hour on Jonathan Moore Pike early Wednesday morning.

Columbus Police Department Sgt. Matt Harris says that at approximately 1 a.m., CPD Officer Ivan Schultz observed a car traveling at an extreme high rate of speed. Schultz was able to get the vehicle stopped in the 4700 block of Pine Ridge Drive. He made contact with the driver of the vehicle and arrested him for reckless driving.
