Niagara Bottling Recalls 14 Bottled Water Brands Due To E.Coli Concerns

Last updated on Tuesday, June 23, 2015

(UNDATED) - A bottled water distributor has issued a voluntary recall over E. Coli concerns.

Niagara Bottling says the recall is out of an abundance of caution.

The water was bottled between June 10 and June 18 at two plants in Pennsylvania.

Recalled brands include: Acadia, Acme, Big Y, Best Yet, 7-11, Niagara, Nature's Place, Pricerite, Superchill, Morning Fresh, Shaws, Shoprite, Western Beef Blue and Wegman's.

There are no indications any water is contaminated, and no one has gotten sick.

Niagara says the operator of a spring that supplies water failed to report evidence of E. Coli at the source.

The bottler says it halted production and issued a voluntary recall.

Niagara says it routinely tests its water to ensure safety.
