(FRANKFORT) - Frankfort Police say a missing 80-year-old man has been found deceased.
Fred Philip Ferguson was last seen around 12 a.m. Monday.
A Regional Silver Alert had been issued for 80-year-old Fred Phil Ferguson while officers with the Frankfort City Police Department investigated his disappearance.
Ferguson was last seen around midnight and Indiana State Police indicated Ferguson could be in danger and require medical attention.
The circumstances surrounding his death were not made clear.
Police say they are still investigating how Ferguson died and will provide an update as their investigation continues.
