(EVANSVILLE) - Two people are taken to the hospital after authorities in Evansville respond to a call about a stabbing Thursday morning.
Dispatch says the call came in just before 6 from the 1400 block of Stringtown Road. Four pit bulls have been removed from the home after a man was bitten.
Police say a woman was hurt when the man tried to fend off one or more of the dogs with a knife and accidentally stabbed her.
Both were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are still trying to figure out exactly what happened.
