(GREENFIELD) - Court documents show a suspended central Indiana police officer has been sentenced on a charge of operating a vehicle under the influence.
The Indianapolis Star reports Terry Austin of the Greenfield Police Department pleaded guilty to the charge. On Wednesday he was fined $768, his driver's license was suspended 90 days and he will be on probation for a year. He was arrested in August when McCordsville police said a squad car was nearly sideswiped by a motorcycle Austin was driving.
Austin was convicted last October of bribery and misconduct and sentenced to one year of home detention and charged nearly $200 in court fees.
He also faces a pending felony charge for promoting prostitution. A jury trial is scheduled for June 9.
