Former Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw Pleads No Contest To Pot Charge

Last updated on Tuesday, May 12, 2015

(CINCINNATI) - A veteran NFL running back has pleaded no contest and paid a fine to settle a misdemeanor count of marijuana possession in Ohio.

Court documents at Eaton Municipal Court show Ahmad Bradshaw paid $351 in fines and costs under the plea agreement. His Ohio driving privileges are suspended for six months.

A second minor misdemeanor charge of following too close was dismissed.

The 29-year-old free agent had earlier pleaded not guilty to the charges from a Feb. 5 traffic stop in western Ohio by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Troopers said they found a small amount of marijuana in the car he was driving.

An NFL spokesman said Bradshaw's case will be reviewed under league policies.

Bradshaw's attorney confirmed the court records, but declined to comment further Monday.
