(BURKET) - Northern Indiana police say a 17-year-old boy has died after he was apparently pulled beneath a lawn mower he was working on.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department says Kurt M. Miller was pronounced dead Friday evening at the scene of the accident at a home near the town of Burket.
Police said it appeared that Miller's clothing got pulled into a mower pulley while he was working on the mower and he was pulled beneath the machine.
He was found underneath the mower when police arrived at the scene about 40 miles west of Fort Wayne.
An autopsy was scheduled for Saturday at the Northeast Indiana Forensic Center in Fort Wayne.
