Spencer County Announces New Conservation Officer

(SPENCER CO.) - Indiana Conservation Officers are proud to announce a vacancy in District 7 has been filled. Officer Tim Kaiser has been assigned Spencer County after previously serving in Delaware County since 2012.

Officer Kaiser is originally from the Selvin area and attended Tecumseh High School. After high school he studied Conservation Law at Vincennes University and graduated in 2009.

His parents are Randy and Kim Kaiser. Officer Kaiser recently bought a house where he lives with his wife Glenna.

Lt. Duane Englert stated "It is a blessing to get another officer in the field, and the fact he comes to us with a couple years of experience is a great benefit."

Tim is an avid hunter and fisherman and has a passion for protecting our natural resources. His first day of patrol in Spencer County was Sunday April 12th 2015.

The vacancy was due to Officer Kurt Souders' retirement earlier this year.
