(VINCENNES) - Authorities are investigating the death of a Vincennes man.
Vincennes Police Chief Dusty Luking says his officers were called to 810 North 6th Street for an unresponsive male at some point on Saturday, April 25th.
Upon arrival, officers determined that a resident there, 55-year old Christopher Melton, was in fact deceased.
The Vincennes Police Department Detective Unit, along with the Knox County Coroner's Office and Indiana State Police, are actively investigating the incident.
An autopsy is scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
