Conservation Officer To Sing National Anthem In Washington D.C.

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - Indiana Conservation Officers of District 9 are proud to announce that Master Indiana Conservation Officer Andy Cline will sing the national anthem at the Capitol grounds in Washington D.C. during Police week on May 16.

The event will take place directly before each fallen Officer's name is read that was killed in the line of duty in 2014. Their names will then be forever inscribed on the memorial wall located in Washington D.C.

"This is an absolute honor and has been a goal of mine from the beginning of my career!" Master ICO Cline states.

Master Conservation Officer Cline began his career in Dearborn County in 1985 and has served the same county for 30 years. He has sung the National Anthem in the ICO Honor Guard since 1995 and has performed at various agency trainings in Indianapolis, Indiana State Law Enforcement Memorials, Indiana Conservation Officer Memorials, the Karl E. Kelley Memorial ICOO Youth Camp and countless other local ceremonies.

Among his daily law enforcement responsibilities, Master ICO Cline's specialties include: division armorer, airboat operator, honor guard, peer support team, fraternal order of police team, District 9 Representative for ICOO, firearms instructor, patrol rifle instructor, active shooter instructor, S.C.U.B.A diver and pilot.

Police week will begin May 10th and last through May 16th of 2015 in Washington D.C.
