Coats Receives "Guardian of Seniors' Rights" Award

Last updated on Friday, April 24, 2015

(WASHINGTON, DC) - Senator Dan Coats (R-Ind.) Thursday received the “Guardian of Seniors’ Rights” award from the 60 Plus Association.

The award honors members of Congress who commit to helping seniors through tax reform and other issues of importance to senior Americans.

"I am honored to receive this award," said Coats. "With 59.3 million Americans over the age of 60 and millions more reaching that milestone each year, promoting smart reforms to the tax code is of the utmost importance."

The 60 Plus Association is a nonpartisan seniors advocacy group promoting free enterprise, limited government and lower taxes.
