Canadian Trapper Instructor Scheduled To Share Expertise In Crawford County

(ENGLISH) - Indiana Conservation Officers are excited to host a Trapping Demonstration in Crawford County April 25.

The guest speaker will be Ken Maw, a retired Ontario, Canada Conservation Officer, and certified Trapper Instructor.

Maw, an avid trapper since the age of 7, will speak on the topics of humane trapping, fur handling, and fur management. He currently runs a Canadian trapline covering nearly 90 square miles, and specializes in otter trapping.

He is looking forward to sharing his enthusiasm and knowledge of fur management, harvesting and handling with Indiana trappers.

The event will take place at 1 p.m. at Sycamore Springs Park, located at 717 West Tunnel Hill Road, in English.
