(EVANSVILLE) - Evansville police arrested a woman after she allegedly stabbed her husband.
Officers say Bradley Madden called 911 saying he was driving himself to St. Mary's ER because his wife stabbed him.
Madden told police his wife, 26-year-old Margaret Madden, came home and woke him up early Friday and then they started arguing.
Bradley says he started to pack things up to leave their house on South Harlen Avenue, when Margaret stabbed him in the shoulder and leg.
Police say Bradley then hit Margaret because he says he feared for his life.
Margaret is in the Vanderburgh County Jail facing battery charges.
