Three Years Since Deadly March 2 Tornadoes

(UNDATED) - Monday marked three years since the deadly March 2, 2012 tornado outbreak.

Thirty-four people from Kentucky and Indiana were killed in the tornadoes.

Homes and businesses were destroyed in Henryville, Marysville, Pekin and Borden, Indiana, as well as West Liberty, Kentucky.

An EF-4 tornado demolished Henryville Junior-Senior High School and Henryville Elementary School.

Volunteers from across the country assisted the communities with rebuilding efforts in the aftermath of the destruction.
