Two Men Land In Knox Co. Jail

(BICKNELL) - Two separate disturbances in two days has earned two Bicknell men a stay at the Knox County Jail.

The first incident happened on Sunday when Bicknell police say 67-year-old Richard West was involved in a fight. Police were dispatched to an altercation at a parking lot, located at Forth and Main Street Sunday.

When police arrived on scene, they found that West had got into his vehicle and attempted to flee police. Authorities were able to stop West a short time later and place him under arrest.

His blood alcohol content registered .27 percent. He was taken to the Knox County Jail and charged with resisting law enforcement, and operating while intoxicated- endangerment

The second disturbance happened on Monday morning, when 44-year-old Harold Turner Jr. was arrested after police say he allegedly caused a disturbance at the Fairview Apartments. Turner, Jr was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail on charges of disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
