(ELKHART) - Two brothers are in custody and one already in prison for allegedly molesting the same teenage girl from 2006 to 2007.
36-year-old Jose Garcia is currently serving a 15-year sentence at the New Castle Correctional Facility after he plead guilty in 2008 to one count of child molestation.
The teenage victim in the case contacted authorities in late 2013 or early 2014 and said that she was also molested by 36-year-old Pedro Garcia and 28-year-old Manuel Garcia. The victim told authorities she was too scared to report the abuse by Pedro Garcia and Manuel Garcia when she reported the abuse by Jose Garcia.
Manuel Garcia was arrested on Thursday, March 12 on two counts class C child molestation. If convicted, he could serve 16 years in prison.
Pedro Garcia was arrested on Friday, March 13, on on two counts of class A child molestation. If convicted, he faces 40-100 years in prison.
It is unclear whether any of the men knew about their brothers' abuse of the victim.
