(UNDATED) - Target appears to be close to settling a class-action lawsuit over the retailer’s massive data breach, according to court documents.
Those who can prove they lost money could be compensated by as much as $10,000.
Target found out in December 2013 that thieves hacked as many as 40 million accounts, which affected as many as 110 million people.
A 97-page settlement says a $10 million fund will be established for victims.
They must fill out a claim form and prove that the breach cost them money.
