Southern And Central Indiana Expecting Additional Snowfall

Last updated on Wednesday, March 4, 2015

(UNDATED) - National Weather Service Indianapolis Meteorologist Dave Tucek says another storm system will hit Indiana beginning this afternoon and through tonight.

Tucek says northern Indiana will pretty much escape much accumulation, central Indiana could see up to four more inches and southern parts could see up to a foot of snow, especially near the Ohio River.

Tucek says it may seem like we've gotten a lot of snow this winter, but in actuality, central Indiana has seen 25.6 inches so far, which is about normal for this time of year. He says the snow just got a late start.
