Plymouth Man Facing Several Charges Following Kmart Shooting

Last updated on Monday, March 23, 2015

(PLYMOUTH) - A man shot by police in the parking lot of a Plymouth Kmart in December is now facing charges.

33-year-old Lane Dobson has been charged with attempted murder, two counts of domestic battery, one count of battery and one count of intimidation with a deadly weapon.

Dobson turned himself in to the Marshall County Jail on Friday after police informed him that a warrant for his arrest had been issued.

Dobson was shot on December 29 after he began shooting at two officers who had pulled him over and were questioning him about a domestic battery case he was suspected of being involved in a few days earlier. Neither officer was injured, and Dodson spent several weeks recovering from his injuries in South Bend and Indianapolis.

Dodson was placed on house arrest in a Kosciusko County home due to his current health condition.
