(Mishawaka) - Indiana Conservation Officers responded to a body found in the Saint Joseph River at Twin Branch Dam.
Indiana Michigan Power employees located the body of a male just before two o'clock today while conducting a routine inspection of the Twin Branch Hydro Electric Dam.
Saint Joseph County Police, Penn Twp. Fire, Mishawaka Fire, and Indiana Conservation Officers responded to the scene. Mishawaka Police, Saint Joseph County Coroner, and Indiana Conservation Officers will be conducting the investigation. An autopsy will be conducted.
The body has been identified and once family members have been notified the name will be released.
