U.S. Marshals Arrest Escaped Prisoner In Spencer

Last updated on Thursday, February 12, 2015

(SPENCER) - Sean Killion was arrested on Wednesday on parole violation and multiple drug convictions.

He was taken into custody while sleeping in the backroom of a home in Spencer by the U.S. Marshals Service Great Lakes Taskforce Southern Indiana.

Killion had previously escaped a prisoner transport from Georgia to Indiana.

He escaped after the van stopped in Cartersville, Ga. about 40 miles northwest of Atlanta, authorities said.

Killion shoved the guard and ran after the private prison transport van stopped outside a gas station for a restroom break shortly after stopping at a local Pizza Hut to pick up food, Cartersville police Lt. Rich Hawley told The Associated Press.
