(LAWRENCE) - A Lawrence teacher will not be in the classroom as officials investigate a relationship with a student.
The MSD of Lawrence Township, IMPD and Child Protective Services are investigating Facebook messages between the Lawrence North High School teacher and a 15-year-old female student. School officials say the student's parent notified them of the messages, which took place outside of school hours.
The teacher has been placed on administrative leave during the investigation.
