Arctic Chill Brings Dangerous Temperatures

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Many spots just south of I-70 picked up two inches of snow this morning.

Temperatures will only top out at around 13 degrees. It will be windy, with winds out of the west-northwest at 15-25mph. This will bring wind chills down into the range of -5 to -15 during the day.

Temperatures will fall to near -6 Thursday morning and wind chills will be -10 to -25. Highs on Thursday will only be in the single digits.

Temperatures go below zero again on Friday morning and highs on Friday will be near 17 degrees. Both Thursday and Friday will be dry.

The weekend will be messy with a rain and snow mix Saturday and snowy Sunday.
