(COLUMBUS) - A Columbus woman was arrested after officers from the Joint Narcotics Enforcement Team served an arrest warrant Monday afternoon in the 300 block of North Gladstone Avenue.
Columbus Police Sgt. Matt Harris says that narcotics investigators, with the assistance of the CPD C.O.P.P.S. Unit, served the felony narcotics dealing warrant on 31-year-old Brittany Barrett.
He says the investigation in this case began in June of 2013 where an undercover officer allegedly purchased heroin from Barrett at a residence on County Road 200 West in Bartholomew County.
Barrett was taken in to custody without incident and booked in the Bartholomew County Jail. Her bond was set at $125,000.
