Campus Commute Launches Shuttle Rides Between Indy And Bloomington

Last updated on Wednesday, January 14, 2015

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Campus Commute, launched on Monday, shuttles riders between Indianapolis and Bloomington.

Indiana University and GO Express Travel partnered up to offer a new intercampus shuttle for students, faculty, staff and the general public. The shuttle runs every weekday, non-stop, with four trips a day.

The Bloomington campus contains two shuttle stops, located at Indiana University Memorial Union Circle Drive, 900 W. Seventh St., and the Indiana Memorial Stadium purple lot near Gate 10, off the State Road 45/46 Bypass. And Indianapolis' two stops include the IUPUI Campus Center, 420 University Blvd., and the Indiana Statehouse near the intersection of Capitol Avenue and Market Street on the east side of the building.

Campus Commute prices start at $7 for a one-way, open and non-reserved ticket. Commuters can reserve tickets for $1.50 extra. Frequent commuters have access to a commuter card, which saves 30 percent on 10 one-way trips.
