(JASPER) - Jasper police arrested 51-year-old Susan E. Compton for battery and intimidation on Christmas Day.
Officers were called to Compton's home at about 5:15 a.m. for the report of a battery in progress.
According to police, Compton had allegedly battered another female and then made threatening gestures with a large kitchen knife.
Police charged Compton with Level 5 felony intimidation with a deadly weapon and class A misdemeanor battery resulting in bodily harm.
She was booked into the Dubois County Security Center.
Dubois County Sheriff's Department assisted with the incident.
