(PORTER CO.) - Indiana State Police arrested a Valparaiso man on charges of child pornography and child exploitation.
Police said an investigation began in April 2014 on Michael Tichenor Jr., 33, of Valparaiso, Indiana. Allegedly Tichenor was contacting juvenile boys on popular social media sites and having inappropriate relations with them.
Further investigation revealed, Tichenor is believed to have traded nude images with several of the boys.
Tichenor was taken to the Porter County Jail and faces 10 felony counts -- eight counts of child pornography, a Level 6 felony, and two counts of child exploitation, a Level 5 felony.
