(SOUTH BEND) - South Bend is over two-thirds along in addressing hundreds of abandoned homes in one thousand days.
The "South Bend Tribune" reports 717 vacant homes have been repaired, demolished or contracted for demolition since the program was announced in February 2013.
The city targeted one thousand homes in the program.
