(QUINCY) - A 38-year-old Owen County man was reportedly injured from a gunshot wound to his leg by a small caliber rifle.
The man reported that his firearm accidentally discharged while crossing a fence.
Owen County Sheriff's Office, Indiana Conservation Officers, and EMS were dispatched to 8273 McFarren Rd., Gosport, Ind. Owen County dispatch was contacted and notified of the incident at 9:10 a.m., Sunday.
Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating the shooting. The victim was taken to Bloomington Hospital by ambulance. No information on his condition.
