(KOKOMO) - Miami County Sheriffs are investigating after a Kokomo teen killed himself in what looks to be a single game of Russian roulette on Thursday.
According to witnesses the 17-year-old was over at a friend's home playing video games with a group, when he produced a hand gun and began handling it in a dangerous manner.
The handgun was loaded with one live round and the victim began spinning the cylinder. He then put the gun to his head and fatally shot himself. The other teens called 9-1-1 and despite life saving efforts from them and emergency first responders, the teen was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the teen has not been released and the investigation is ongoing.
