Last updated on Monday, December 15, 2014

(TERRE HAUTE) - An inmate has escaped from the minimum-security federal prison in Terre Haute.

WRTV reports 61-year-old Michael Ward was found missing Sunday morning during an inmate count at the Federal Correctional Complex. He was serving a 10-year sentence for fraud. He's described as a white male, standing 5'10" tall and weighing approximately 195 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair.

The Department of Justice says Ward is believed to have escaped in a white, government-owned Chevy Silverado pickup with U.S. government license plate J0011THA.

Federal marshals have been notified.
