(FORT WAYNE) - The Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo is mourning the loss of one of its giraffes.
Kalahari died earlier this week.
The zoo sent out the following Tweet: We are saddened to report the passing of Kalahari the giraffe. She'll be greatly missed by her keepers and many fans.
Kalahari was one of seven reticulated giraffes in the African Journey. No other details about what happened were released.
