Former Hendricks Co. Deputies Arrested In Connection With Spice Ring

Last updated on Friday, December 12, 2014

(BOONE CO.) - Two former Hendricks County deputies have been arrested on charges stemming from one of the nation’s largest Spice busts.

41-year-old Jason Woods and 34-year-old Teresa Woods were booked into the Boone County Jail around 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

The arrests stem from their involvement in a synthetic drug manufacturing ring in Hancock County last year, investigators said. Indiana State Police called it the largest operation in state history and one of the largest in the nation.

The husband and wife were suspended and then fired for criminal wrongdoing back in March.
