Drunk Driver Responsible For Power Outage

(LAFAYETTE) - Lafayette police say a drunk driver is responsible for a power outage that left more than 1,500 residents in the dark.

Reports say 26-year-old Dillon Mills slammed his car into a pole Tuesday and knocked it into the street.

Mills was arrested for operating while intoxicated. He was also treated for minor injuries at the scene.
