(JOHNSON CO.) - Police and emergency crews responded to a serious crash in Johnson County just before 6 p.m. Monday.
The crash happened on State Road 135 and County Road 300 South. That's between Bargersville and Trafalgar.
Police say two pickup trucks crashed head on.
The drivers of both vehicles were killed, according to a release. A male passenger was flown to IU Methodist Hospital by medical helicopter.
Preliminary investigation shows the truck traveling south on State Road 135 went left of center for an unknown reason striking the northbound truck.
Around 6:45 p.m., police closed the intersection at SR 135 and CR 300 South, it has since re-opened.
The Johnson County coroners office was holding identification until family members were notified.
