Teen Arrested After Making Threat At Terre Haute High School

(VIGO CO) - The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a threat at a Terre Haute High School.

Police say they have one person, a student in custody.

According to a police report, Vigo County Sheriff investigators were alerted to a threat at Terre Haute North Vigo High School. Detective First Sergeant Frank Shahadey and a School Safety Specialist say 19-year-old Matt Clark admitted he said "When you hear gunshots, go to the cafeteria, you will be safe there."

Clark was arrested early Wednesday morning.

Police say students are safe and North Vigo High School is operating under a normal schedule.
