(NORTH MANCHESTER) - An off-duty officer with the North Manchester Police Department is dead after a crash Monday afternoon in Wabash County.
Investigators say 39-year-old David Rigney hit a slick spot in the road, crossed the centerline and was hit in the driver's side door by a school bus. A third vehicle also hit Rigney's car.
Rigney was pronounced dead at the scene. No other serious injuries were reported.
