(ALBION) - Noble County man was killed Friday evening when his water heater exploded.
Authorities said 88-year-old Dale Clouse was fueling his closed water heating system when it exploded for an unknown reason.
He suffered fatal injuries and the blast caused severe damage to his home on East 100 North.
Betty Clouse was in the home at the time and declined medical treatment at the scene.
An investigation will be conducted.
