(UNDATED) - Hoosiers have lost about 5-million dollars in a new scam.
The scam leads the victim to believe he or she is under investigation and owes money to the Internal Revenue Service.
The calls have generated more than 20,000 complaints to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration since January.
