Gibson Co. Man Admits To Shooting Death

(GIBSON CO.) - A Gibson County man admits to voluntary manslaughter in the shooting death of a Princeton man.

The Princeton Daily Clarion reports that 54-year-old Claude Arender will be sentenced on December 17

The incident happened June 20th during a fight near Main and Kentucky Streets; 21-year-old Raheim Bright died from a gunshot wound to the head.

Gibson Superior Court Judge Earl Penrod will decide whether to accept the plea deal, enter a conviction and sentence or refuse the plea and set a new trial date.
