(KOKOMO) - Police in Kokomo arrested a suspect in the weekend murder of a man found dead inside a home.
54-year-old Cynthia Coates of Kokomo was arrested on Tuesday night by Kokomo Police.
Coates was preliminarily charged with the murder of 45-year-old Corey Lee Story of Kokomo.
Officers responded to the 1000 block of Quail Run Drive shortly before 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Police say a resident called 911 and said he came home and found Story dead in his house. Investigators say Story was an in-home caregiver for the resident.
Story was pronounced dead by the Howard County Coroner. He died from gunshot wounds he sustained at the home, police say.
