Trial Underway For New Albany Minister Charged With Sodomy

(NEW ALBANY) - Jury selection is underway at the trial of a New Albany minister charged with sodomy.

The trial of a New Albany minister charged with sodomy of a teenage boy is now on hold until October.

Isrom Johnson served as pastor at Prince of Peace Missionary Baptist Church.

He faces three counts of sodomy for alleged incidents that happened between March of 2008 and March of 2011 involving a 13-year-old boy.

The trial was scheduled to begin in May but was delayed until this month.
