(NOBLESVILLE) - A Noblesville man was found not guilty this week in a fatal shooting last year.
Jose Luiz Romo was charged with reckless homicide in the death of 45-year-old Jesus Armando Martinez-Lopez.
On Oct. 30, 2013, officers responded to assist medics on a possible cardiac arrest report on Cicero Road in Noblesville. When they arrived they found Martinez-Lopez lying in the driveway after having been shot in the chest with what appeared to have been a pellet gun.
He was rushed to Riverview Hospital where he later died.
A jury trial began this week for Romo where he was found not guilty in Martinez-Lopez's death.
